JDK Installation for SAP NWDS 7.3

Most of us will be prompted with below pop-up screen when we run SAP NWDS 7.3.


Please find below step to solve the issue:

1. Please download from SAP Marketplace JDK.
You can download from below path:

Support Packages and Patches --> A-Z Index --> N > SAP NETWEAVER> SAP EHP1 FOR SAP NETWEAVER 7.3--> Entry by Component --> Application Server Java --> SAP JVM 6.1--> Windows Server on IA32 32bit--> SAPJVM6_42-10006996.SAR



2. Extract SAPJVM6_42-10006996.SAR using SAPCAR in sap marketplace as below screen shot


3. Copy all extracted JVM to the path ...\NWDS 7.3\eclipse\

Note: If you copy to other path, you need to specify the sap jvm location in the SapNetweaverDeveloperStudio.ini
e.g. : -vm c:\users\username\Downloads\sapjvm_6\bin\

    HOW TO EXTRACT THE .SAR FILE ??

      download sapcar from sap marketplace and see the command prompt screen shot on items 2.
